| From the Where2sing.com forum: We’ve only seen one season of ‘The Voice’ & the reason the talent level is superior is because pros are allowed to compete. Javier & Dia are better than any Idol, X-Factor or Got Talent winners I’ve seen (well maybe except Kelly Clarkson & David Cook) but both had recording contracts pre-Voice . At the end of the day though, it’s still going to be a popularity contest. The one good thing about ‘The Voice’ is that posers are weeded out early. Johnny wouldn’t make it past the blind audition while Andrew would’ve eaten Reece alive at any phase of the competition. But what if Andrew & Reece both make it to the final 4 where the public vote takes effect. It’s still going to be the same result.
