| From the Where2sing.com forum: To be honest MB ...I would hate to go thru life worrying about who may or may not take a gig from me...as far as I am concerned..if a venue manager cannot see value in our karaoke and opts for a cheaper price...then so be it ...and either we are not suited to that particular venue ...or ..we have not been doing our job i guess.....or you have a dickhead running the venue
It has happened to us once ...after 4.5 years hosting the very successful Albany Creek Tavern...along came a new manager...wanted to save money and went for another cheaper Karaoke Host...the new host only lasted 14 months....he was always threating us with replacing us with Krazy Kath..LOL..(bottom of the food chain Karaoke Host)
I have never seen a venue fall apart as fast as the ACT after the introduction of a new manager...guess what ? ...he is no longer there either!!LOL ...a pity really ..the Albany Creek Tavern was with out doubt a premier karaoke venue...we used to already have an audience of 80-100 before we even started the show...and they were there for no other reason than the vibe and nightclub style atmosphere...we used to love it ...then along came.. Bipan Mohammed Abdul Superarrogant....the rest is history
