| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Tony TT ..Yes i gathered that as 7 seconds is a lifetime on stage lol and yes i agree , If and i say If Foldbacks where all managed correctly at karaoke i would say yes every one should have them , now i know Rovics has a '' lets say '' better understanding than most when it comes to sound ( or at least this is what i get from his writings over the years ) but hey lets face it in the karaoke world there are as many that have little or no sound skills as there are those with skills , some live on a '' wing and a prayer '' with there sound and we all know that , sadly over my time i have came across many of these '''wing and a prayer '' jobs and it has '' shaken '' my confident in FB's and also as i have said i have particular needs for my karaoke experiences and they may not suit others so i try to stay away from FB's when it comes to karaoke , and also if you have a certain type of speakers you can mostly place them behind the singer , i know because in doing thousands of shows i have done this except perhaps a half a dozen times , then i have used a foldback , hey what can i say , this is how i do it and i have never had one complaint about not being able to hear themselves singing ever .
