| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Hitman , yes it was back in the mid 90's and it was the one run by my old mate Bill Masters , perhaps it wasn't Wintersun or the car race , my brain is a little fuzzy these days lol but it was an Australia wide Comp and the entry fee to run the Comp for venue was $500 ( if my memory is correct ) and there was a $5 fee , maybe it was only for Victorians lol as we know what some ( and i say SOME ) Qlders think of Victorians perhaps it was there way of welllllllll ! you know what i mean , how is my old mate John Preston , i did a few gigs for him when i went on a year long holiday to Qld ...but as i said it was a nightmare trying to get $5 out of everyone and it only took away from the Bar sales anyway so it wasn't a bright idea back then and i doubt it would be today.
