| From the Where2sing.com forum: Undertheradar ....Oh yes i couldn't agree more with you in what you say and as I've been saying charging an entrance fee didn't work in the past and i doubt very much if it would work today , now although I'm not a great fan of Comps in karaoke for various reasons , i do enjoy going to a Comp ( heats or finals ) where the whole night is dedicated to the Comp ,sadly these ones are few and far between , i just can't go to the ones where there is a couple of hours of '''' Normal karaoke '' and then there is a Comp slotted in somewhere through the night , boring !!!! but each to there own , but from a Comp point of view sorry i can't just '''back '' an underdog for the sake of that person being an underdog yet if that person shows Ability , potential and could improve along the way with a little guidance hell yeah !
