| From the Where2sing.com forum: I have no objection to a singer bringing a disc or 2 of their favourite versions just in case I do not have it digitally...and I will play them without a real problem...however many do not even look in our books at all... they just put 'My Disc' track 4 on the slip and then we end up having discs laying all over the place... usually without any name of the owner on them and then it becomes our responsibility to make certain we remember whose disc belongs to who yada yada...
Many will stand and wait to retrieve their disc back usually while you are very busy hosting... sorting rotation and sound..distracting you and forcing you to go sorting and looking thru discs to find theirs...NO THANX...
Then you get the group of 5 or 6 'tragics' all with folders full of discs etc ...it becomes a serious pain in the arse
I now will tell these people if they could please ' please have look in the books first'...or if I know we have the song in my HD I will use that in preference
