| From the Where2sing.com forum: From the ''Ásk David '' page .....Well hey one could always do what Wolfie is doing , running a show with just a JVC player , he never has any problems with singers that bring there own discs ( legal of course ) , perhaps this thing about singers having own discs and host not playing them is a negative for computerisation............
Now i only do this at home yet i can't see why this wouldn't work out in the field ( if one was allowed ) , i have a number of karaoke songs on my lap top ( mostly DVDs but where once CDG songs before i change format) , i have a Voco-pro professional digital echo mixer / equalizer unit ( No DA 1050pro for anyone who wishes to research ) i place the JVC in the CGD input and the laptop in the DVD input and then i just push the '' switchover button on the unit and it plays which ever input i select ...now if i just placed cCDGs on the laptop ( no changing of format ) and i haven't done this yet I'm sure the Voco pro would play it ........
