| From the Where2sing.com forum: I cant see a problem with playing singers own discs. I understand that so much is computerised now but the host doesnt have to carry the discs, the punter is. Most laptops have a built in disc player and it is not hard to get a program to read cdg etc. Alternatively there are a lot of cdg players- smaller than a laptop - that could be incorporated into the rig. I like a lot of more obscure songs and artists that I have managed to obtain legal K versions of (probably not worth the KJ purchasing on the off chance that I turn up & feel like singing them) and would love to sing them for my friends at the show rather than just for myself at home.
