To be too dogmatic about any of these matters is silly and many of us just go along with the flow and cater to our singers but only to a point..
And just as it has taken time for many of us older hosts to adjust ...I believe it is wise to slowly but surely let your singers know and encourage them to adjust to the new Karaoke format and for them to realise and understand that this is the way it is now and that as a host.. we ask our singers to join us on this new path for karaoke music.....after all ...if someone came along with a laser disc of their favourite classics I ...likewise would have to refuse ....
