| From the Where2sing.com forum: LOL LB...although its gotta be said that Karaoke is responsible for much judge and viewer ridicule on shows like Idol ..Xfactor and the like?....I am certain that all of us as hosts have seen a number of our 'singers' participating in one of these competitions and being told in the preliminary auditions to go home and try knitting or oragami instead? ...LOL
Invariably those who chose to enter these competitions were almost always the very worst of singers that karaoke had to offer...and so once again leaving karaoke wide open to ridicule by TV Judges.
Is it kind to give 'undue praise' to those karaoke singers who are clearly vocally and musically challenged ?...particularly if they then go and inflict their 'talents' on an unsuspecting TV audience citing 'Karaoke' as their training ground?
