| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi All , Yes we went to Wolfies show last night and it was a 170 kms (340kms return ) trip but hey that is what you must do if you want your karaoke fix and live in the bush , 4 hours driving for 3 hours of karaoke lol , I started my singing night off with a song that i have never sung before or even rehearse before , i do this because it sort of gives an handicap with other singers ,it puts me on the same level and gives me that old karaoke feeling of nervous anticipation,, ''Little lion man'' and yes i kept the '''F'' word in as there were no kiddies around , started off shakey but finish the song well then i did a song which i hadn't done for a dozen years or more and no one knew the song ...''Days of pearly Spencer '' , doing this also puts you on '' tender-hooks '' then i did ''Hallelujah '' , the original Cohan rendition which '''Won '' them all back then finish off with Pink Floyd's '' Comfortably Numb'' which gave me ''Legend '' status with all and sundry so it was a great night of karaoke at Wofies show well worth the long distances on very lonely roads and approx $35 in fuel but the high light for me was my Wife singing , first time in more than a year because of illness and guess what !! she blow me and others out of the water with her voice , her voice is only 50 % right and still so much better than me and others there last night including Wolfie.
