| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi All ....Now i hadn't seen the overseas rendition of '' The Voice '' so i can only go on what i've seen in the promo's on the Australian version , i was watching '' A Current affair '' last night and in there story of the Voice they made it seem like the contestants walked off the street onto a red carpet and straight into the studio and start singing with the judges backs turned away , Well Pleasssse are folks that dumb !!! , now i have had very little experience in TV but with the amount i do know is that there is always '' Pre-Productions '' in place, You can't tell me that there has not been some sort of cull of interested singers and the ones they keep are well rehearsed , sound checks done on individuals , camera frames and places done , music sorted , stage manages consulted and who's to say that these judges don't sit in on rehearseals etc , there are so many things that happen and the singers will be viewed by so many people , so this ''walking off the street and sing thing '' is a load of Hype.......I'm Not a Fan of Hype because it gets in the way of the honest truth ...ie ...One Direction , one song and not as good as many Boy bands songs from the 90's and they are hailed as the biggest band in the world pleasssse , here today gone tomorrow, so don't get fooled by the Hype.
