| From the Where2sing.com forum: I was always of the belief that people would only '' download '' songs they thought they only needed so the thousands of songs plus those repeats renditions ( which sometimes is not all bad ..see my previous post to why ) that we use to get '' on disc'' whether we wanted them or not'' would go by the wayside and i had written this opinion here some years ago , and it is now true for what i have seen that many list's are becoming '' Mundane ' much the same , where as once before you took at times your life in your hands ( as Anthony says ) with god knows what rendition you got at the various karaoke shows , for Me this was always an adventure , sometimes i like it and sometimes i didn't like but it was always the wonderful part of the karaoke experience .
L/B is correct when he tells us that the '' Lady GaGa ;'s and Bruno Mars and such '' top artists'' are at the forefront of karaoke Lists yet in many cases its the same ol , same ol renditions and many not so top artists are not placed on lists , as L/B tells us this is just total bad news for karaoke as we head into the future
CD Discs opened the door to a whole new wonderful world of song and music in karaoke , sadly we are heading back to the future where there was a very limited selection of song like the days of Laser discs and Tapes
More and More i am so thankful to myself for not selling my Disc collection as many songs will become harder and harder to get as time goes on.
