The judges like all other shows must pick a certain amount '' culling singers '' , that is they know there will be some that they can easily '' off load '' and as we are seeing now they start getting there favourite and start pushing them along.
Hey they tricked the viewing public with there new gimmicks and the public fell for it ( not me ) so good on them , that's all part of the Television experience.
When i first seen Kieran sing his first 4 bars of the song i said to my wife '''hey this bloke sounds just like James Blunt , in fact he's as good as James , well i nearly fell off my chair when one of the judges said the same thing , But i also said that this bloke Kieran is soooooo karaoke, and Seal said the same , and i understand what Seal was trying to get across although so badly , it is that Kieran is trying to imitate what an artist is, he is not delivering a performance from himself , from with in , something original that shows he has some unique artistry about himself , this is what makes great artists they are like no one else and this is the difference between karaoke and '' singing artists '' they mostly are trying to '' map out '' there own path not sound like there hero singer .
