| From the Where2sing.com forum: I have seen so many venues that seem to have their busiest night when karaoke is on, yet they cancel it for no apparent reason. I think its because a descision maker or someone with influence over a descision maker just doesnt like it. Perhaps because they tried and shock horror!!!! they werent the best singer! Imagine! Perhaps its because the bosses mate reckons it interferes with Friday night football - which they could've stayed at home and watched anyway! Perhaps some people just dont like to see others have fun. Perhaps its cause pubs & clubs are all about gambling now, but yeah some stupid descisions are made.
As for Keiren...yeah I thought he was the best of the two on the night, but it was like deciding which crap smelled least! Sorry to his 'fans' but I think he put in a mediocre pub karaoke performance - both times! Even if he sang better than I thought. and I only heard it on a small TV, his arrogant 'how dare you question me I'm perfect!' attitude did not help him!
