| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Karaoketragic , no i don't think it will '' take off '' but its always been around , the '' down side '' that i can see is that the Bands that do it , you are at there mercy as far as '' Style '' eg... the band I sang with on Sunday is basically a '' Rockabilly '' type band , hence the name '' the HubCaps '' lol , so unless you sing rockabilly or such type songs , you can only hope and pray that they will play half decent when it comes to your song , Hey they are only human lol , so because of this i don't think it will take off , but those bands that do it can provide a fun filled day never the less , but you are restricted to what you can sing .
