| From the Where2sing.com forum: Today's Boiling Point: It's all natural selection really. If bad sound, bad lists, bad rotation keeping and bad hosting were really that important, people wouldn't go to these shows and they would end up getting cancelled. Now granted, in some areas, there are simply no other options and you take what you are given, but in built up areas where there are multiple options on a weekend night there is no excuse for there to be crappy karaoke shows around. But that's it isn't it, those things aren't that important to people. Walk into any crap karaoke show and you will find people plugging away, attending week after week. Some are oblivious to how bad the show is and that's fair enough, Passion Pop sells for a reason. However there are people who will go to crap shows and complain about how crap it is and yet still go week after week. The crap show is there because of these people, not because of the host.
