Thornguage... if you'd like to find gigs, the proper thing to do is subscribe and access the listings rather than ask in the forum. The reason for this is that those who see value in subscribing to see the listings are likely to spend money at the venues that they attend.
James... just to clarify why I removed the post advertising Wolf's phone number as a contact for hearing about gigs - the basis of W2S is the listing of gigs, and leading people on the forum directly to a host who is already rather slow at listing his gigs, yet very quick to try for free advertising on this site, is to reduce the value of W2S for all subscribers. The other reason to remove specific information from the forum is that it is static (ie: no one goes back to info in old posts and updates them), while the gig listings are dynamic (changes are continually made to the information).
