| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi All , Last night i drove home from Melbourne which is a 6 hour trip , so i decided to listen to Radio as i listen to my mp3 stick collection going down there , first station was ''Gold 104.3 '' jukebox Saturday night which lasted me till i got 50 kms from Ararat (140kms from melb ) as that station faded out i tune into Ballarat 3ba and there show ''My Generation '' ( and yes there are towns named Ararat and Ballarat) and if you did your Australia history you would find that democracy in Australia as we know it today basically started in Ballarat , a wonderful town loaded in history any way back to my story as those towns faded into the distance i then tuned into 108.9 3wm which had a retro Saturday night 60's 70'80's which got me home ...Wonderful Jimmy boy you may be saying but Hey WTF !!! lol ...well nearly every 2nd song played on these stations were songs from my past and many i hadn't heard since back to my days when i had my first hotted up HR holden car and my first HT Holden panel van ( these were very special cars because one of our most enjoyable past time was going to the ''Drive -ins '' ) but what has this got to do with W2S ? , Well every 2nd song i said '' gee's i must sing this at karaoke or i must get out the karaoke disc and have a go at this song but guess what !!!!!! today i can't remember one song that i'm going to have a go at ....Bummer !!!
