Ah yes the never ending and always changing world of the copyright, I remember many years ago when Pioneer produced the third Aussie laser disc, The head of Pioneers Karaoke division in Australia told me that in some cases up to three or four people owned the rights to a song so they had to negotiate with each person individually,Things have now changed I hear.
Alas some people don't care less about copyright like the guy who fronted last night with his own disc, When I checked it to see if I had the PAID FOR versions he had Soundchoice, Sunfly, Legends and Capital karaoke songs on it. He even had the hide to put his photo on the label with the name Ronalds Karaoke Productions on it... of course his name was Ronald lol.
I used my versions and Ronald was quite happy that I had the exact versions that he had Pirated.
