The Altona SC gig has always been Friday nights for almost 18 months, (although it is not on every Friday night). It has also been well advertised as such, on the W2S gig guide and a couple of other gig guides as well.
I'm also quite sure that the people at the Altona SC would have told someone looking for Karaoke when it was on, as they regularly get phone calls asking such questions.
Next time, before you suggest a gig is not running, perhaps you should check with the host of the gig, or maybe even look it up on the W2S gig guide, as this is now pretty well accurate and kept up to date.
