| From the Where2sing.com forum: ok well i always make sure my gains and main volume never go over half. with the bass mid and treble they are around the half mark or just under. I think maybe it could be my fx maybe i have set that wrong and need to change that. The speakers were pretty close at this venue due to lack of space. ,, yes it is hard to get good knowledge from the people you are buying the equipment off.
the mics are not even 12 months old yet and have not been dropped. So i dont think its the mics though i do have another set of cordless mics and 3 x sm58's but i really don't like using the shures are i hate the cords and i feel (i know how this sounds) but the cordless sound better to my sm58's. Wierd i know being shures and all but thats just my opinion. i think it's just a case of changing the settings and moving my speakers but in this particular venue i don't know how i will go with that but we will see.. :)
