| From the Where2sing.com forum: KC The Distance shouldn't make a difference....but the gain settings on the Mic or receiver (depending on brand) WILL make a big difference...On My Senheiser Cordless.... My Trim setting on my Mixer is at around 11 oclock...Likewise the gain/trim setting on the back of my receiver is also at 11oclock...or else I can expect feed back.... particularly if all mics are in use....
Your Mixer does not have individual channel 'Trim/gain' controls...so you need to work with your main/Volume (which I believe is an overall gain/sensitivity control moreso than Volume as such)
Again feedback is almost always the result of a too much gain/sensitivity ...NOT as many think... too Much Volume...but first you must understand the difference between Input sensitivity and 'Volume'.....:-)
