Mate its very difficult to Know whats the best these days with regards to equipment ...so much of it is made ...assembled or at least parts sourced from China .....I suspect that from a sound point of view many of your cheaper brands such as Behringer produce the goods...however I think for much of it.... the difference really lies in longevity...with the well known more up market gear lasting longer than the Chinese versions...but my perception is not based on any real facts...just my own thoughts.

With Regards to Amplifiers ...the rule of thumb for the best result generally is Speaker RMS in watts X2....in other words if your speaker is rated @250 watts RMS @ 8ohms.. then your amp should produce 500 watts PER SIDE rms AT @8ohms (both sides driven)...I will repeat that @8 OHMS.....do not be misled by spec figures quoted at @4ohms.....Of course an amplifier of lesser Wattage will run the above speakers however remember its low power that will damage your speakers moreso than high power.....generally for Karaoke Purposes the gain/sensitivity knobs on the front of your amp would rarely/never be above 75%...

....all other Gains/trim etc on your mixer will be at unity gain or less (at least aim for that) ......its more effective/efficient to divert ALL your bass into a Sub Woofer/s.... leaving your satellite speakers to handle only mids and highs ....where possible Subwoofers should be in the middle of the room ( called the sound alley) particularly in small rooms ...not so important in large/stadium situations.

That will do for now LOL
