| From the Where2sing.com forum: As far as promoting the event at Other karaoke Gigs it would be better if host explained to there customers that all of the details to the fundraiser night can be seen on the W2S site.This way in order for a singer to find details on the venue they would need to come here.
I dont think any host should talk of another venue while they are doing a gig.I feel that they should just tell there singers that there will be a fundriaser get together on the 4th of april and that all the details can be found on the W2S site.This way It directs singers to this site and not to another venue.As far as any host at the event that wishes to help they to will be promoted heavily on the night.
EG. it would be said like this...'Kev From Kev,s Karaoke is here tonight helping with this event you can find Kev,s Gigs on the W2S web site or you can have a talk to Kev here tonight and ask Kev about his shows... This way at alll venue there is not risk of promoting other venue.
A lot of planning will go into this event to make sure all involve are able to get something good out of it.
