| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Barritone... thankyou for your on going support and you are right about every one asking there boss about donating or even still getting there boss and work freinds to come along for what will be a fun night. There is a fund that cheque can be made out to and it is the 'Shauntelle Berryman fundraiser account' I thank you for your comittment to this fundraiser and hope you are there on the night as you know I always enjoy your company in any case and as for someone to sing with well you know we click when we do duos.
Catman the disc set that Foster has donated is one that will help raise quite a good amount of funds and I am sure that singers will do all they can to win this set. I would love to be able to come out to Mt druitt again soon and once we have got this fund raiser at the eastern creek finished I hope to be able to get back into the normal swing of things.
With out the help from you all we could not make this night a reality and alot of people in here have worked hard promoting this night.
I have spend hours sending out letters for sponsership and prizes since this all began every day I have spent so much time to it that Ive had to miss out on going out to sing.many of you have been doing the same thing as well.
The most important thing to do now is to get people to COME to the night. I have contacted News papers and radio and TV firms as well as the 2 local school where Shauntelle went and anyone that is in my phone book and mobile text as well as karaoke singers.
I now owe it to the supporters including YOU to make sure that the night has plenty of people there. I can not stress this point.
My biggest fear is for a turn out of only a handful of people. Yes there will be a news story and It will be in the gig guild and yes it is promoted here but some time you can put it into the paper to find it only attacts a few extra across the district.But we can just all get extra people to come by inviting freinds family coworkers as well as singers at shows.So lets make this a huge night and grab people tie them up and make them come and closer to the event ring them again and tell them we need them. other wise catman and partner are going to come pay them a visit.LOL..
So go on then stop reading my huge post and go get them....
