So here it was, another normal night at my favourite local karaoke when in walks Miss Prissy and her 'spoil it for everyone' friends. She headed straight for the host and requested she be put up as soon as possible as she stated (and I quote) 'I am a real singer' and then headed to her table of bring-a-long supporters.So, after a few others had sang, which I will add were laughed at and snickered at by the people at her table it was Miss Prissy's turn to sing. After instructing the host to turn her mic down and the like she stood on the stage and gave us her entire life story. Then followed up with 'Hold onto your seats folks, you are ready for some REAL entertainment' Her chosen song was 'Let Me Entertain You' and that she did. My best way to describe her talent was like watching a bulldog eat a bowl of custard. After she finished her 'entertaining' she proceeded to stand on stage to await applause but was greated with silence and many very widely opened mouths, except for her supporters who seemed to think she was standing ovation worrthy. She dropped the mic, grabbed her OVERSIZED handbag ,made a hand gesture to her friends and left the venue leaving alot of people thinking 'what was that all about'. It just goes to show, karaoke is entertaining on MANY levels..
