I joined your site because I wanted to see some other venues in Qld, but you want me to pay to find that out? I can find it for free what do you offer that you could charge for?

I think you'll find that you're confusing the 'find it for free' with being able to find the same information with making phone calls (not free), driving around (not free), and attending gigs that aren't to your liking (definitely not free). Perhaps you should start with looking at the gigs in the Karaoke World Championships free list to see that the information on the site allows you to pick and choose the gigs you're likely to enjoy best.
But the site is not compulsory - just like your own car, you could have decided to stay on public transport (whcih again is not 'free'...lol).
