I thought one of the benefits of the new database would be that gigs would be separate, even those in the same venues (the combining of info was a source for complaint previously by hosts). I've added your suggestion to my list of things to think about, and will mull over what links should connect gigs - both gigs in the same venue, and gigs by the same operator in different venues. Definitely some linking is necessary, and I just need to consider how to implement it without making the structure/navigation of the website overly complex.
I've dropped nicknames from this Forum because they were (blame Addict for pointing it out) compromising the anonymity of some who sent me emails. Perhaps put your name at the foot of your post if you'd like this to be public?
