Thanks for the Karaoke news, I appreciate it. Well I was reading your email and saw that quite a few Karaoke venues have bitten the dust, well add another to your list.
The Bridgeport hotel in Murray bridge had also stopped. Aj ran it.
Im not sure who stopped our fun or why , but I can tell u that none of the karaoke family we made is happy about it. None of us were in it for the money,,, only the fun of it and socializing every week with each other. Its not fair when we karaoke peeps are left in the cold. It took me 6yrs to get up the courage to sing karaoke on my own, I finally did and now its been spoiled by some bs. Seems to me that people love to spoil others fun.
You are doing a great job. U can be proud of your efforts to keep the Karaoke dream alive. Good on ya .

Many thanks for letting me know, and I've marked it as no longer running. Actually, if you see any gig on the site that has stopped, all you need do is click the 'Remove' button to do the same (the listing will then stay on the site and say 'No Longer Running' for a month so anyone who knows differently can see it and speak up).
I hear that AJ was a great host, and of course its sad to see a gig bite the dust - but perhaps it just wasn't drawing in the number of drinkers they needed to turn a profit. The number of gigs being removed from W2S at the moment is more to do with the ease of removing gigs now - a lot of hosts have visited and found gigs in their lists that are no longer running, and which they forgot to mention to me previously. The next News Email will again have a pretty good list (I think about 27 removed since the last News Email already), but I also see nearly 20 new gigs listed (that Subscribers will see in their News Email).
