Kev, yes, I'll admit to getting a tad incensed and dropping down to the same level as some of the others and stand corrected. For that I can offer humble apologies as I did probably only add more garbage to what was already being added to by some other regulars here.
As per your advice, I did go out last night and had a pretty much great time, though tiring as managed to hit 3 venues in one night. One was Rovics at the Brook Hotel. Didn't stay long enough to gain an opinion one way or another though, and unlike David, I can't profess to being expert enough to get a proper opinion one way or the other.
Chuck, I merely responsed to earlier inflammatory comments you'd made, read back what you posted. In reply to your comments about how well you know the players better, please spare me the style of another poster and brag about how well you know them. It has no bearing to me. I don't like the Bulldogs and I stand by my right to do so. I wouldn't be surprised if you were one of those 'people' who cause all the trouble.
Now, I'm going to be surprised if this post actually gets put on, or stays on as I've noticed a number of my later ones have been deleted. Especially some where I'd make apologies where I though they were due So be it.
Obviously David has taken to moderating this now as it his prerogative. Interesting the ones he takes out. It appears to me that he's trying to inflame conversation, maybe as a way to get more hits and possibly more subscriptions. Given that I'd monitored this site for quite some time before I even dared to make any comments. It seems that there are a number of parochial views here.
Have fun, enjoy your karaoke, and find something better to do than post to a self-serving forum that adds nothing to the industry. Vic, I'll come to your show in the first week of April, and give an unbiased view of your gig. But it will posted elsewhere where it's likely to be meaningful and not related to any possible monetary gain by the owner of the website.
