You say your friends call you rather than subscribe. How often do they call you for that information though? Wouldn't they be better off subscribing rather than wasting time and money on the phone? Even if they're calling on company time, that's STILL costing someone money and it's not very nice to rort the system to do that anyway. Plus, if the bosses discover what they're calling about, they'd be none too pleased, so for the stress levels alone of being 'found out' they'd be better off subscribing, surely?
Also, didn't you spend your money to subscribe for yourself rather than for others? Noble as it is to share the information selflessly, it's also a case of being used by those who treat you as a resource - whether that was their intention or not.
BTW, my words may be confrontational but my tone is meant to be both friendly and polite. I'm not slagging off you or your friends or anything. Just trying to put things in perspective here.
