| From the Where2sing.com forum: Taking on from my comment in the General Forum about CareAoke being a great way to attract new people to karaoke... If these approximately monthly events are going to be held in a different location each time, and attract a good core of W2S singers, what better place than that in which to attract new singers from the local area? Perhaps part of the 'package' provided by the venue, or host, or a sponsor, could be a local leaflet drop inviting all singers? And a standard promo piece in the local paper?
Something along the lines of:
'Do you love singing? Next Tuesday is your opportunity to go along and sing in front of an audience - and win a prize. CareAoke is being held at ..... venue at 7pm on Tuesday ..., and all local singers are invited to come along. Come and sing from one of 3,500 songs, or just come and watch the great talent. Experienced karaoke singers will also be there, and we know from previous events that it truly is a great night out.... etc....'
Then, at the night, ensure we 'register' everyone's email address and invite them to other CareAoke nights (and, of course, the W2S forum).
