To Johnny B:

I've had a few people ring me who come onto this forum but are not subscribers. I can see both sides of this discussion, I can see David's point of view and I can also see Kev's as well. While it is better value financially to take out at least a 3 month subscription, some people don't see it that way. They only want to access the information for one day or one week, but they don't see the long term advantages of being a subscriber for at least three months. New gigs are added on a regular basis and if a person is not a subscriber, that he/she cannot access these, not can they access any of the other articles that are part of this website.

To David:
Can a person still access the gig listings by writing an article and getting the necessary 'points' needed? If this is still the case, then that is how a lot of non-subscribers are getting information about gig listings. I can appreciate that it has taken quite a deal of time, energy and expense on your part to set up this website and I don't, for one minute, think it should be something that the non-subscribers can take advantage of. Everyone should have to pay something. I may have not been on the website when you decided to take off the one month subscription, but what happened to that? Some people possibly would be happy to join for a month, but not for three, six or twelve months. I suppose when you look at things, people are getting information for free from me by ringing me and asking me about where a gig is or if a particular gig is still going. Maybe I should start charging people for the informaton that I provide!! I had to pay for a 3 month subscription, so it should work on a 'user pays' system. So to everyone who is ringing me and asking me for information, you are going to have to join the website Sorry about that, but it is not expensive and you will get a lot out of it. I am hoping that noiw that 'Roz's free information service' has closed, that more people will join this excellent website.

Roz.
