From the Where2sing.com forum:

Hi Eagle Rocker and welcome to the W2S forum.
Occasionally you will find people coming onto this forum with different points of view (which can raise someone’s hair on their back) but in the main a great bunch of caring Karaoke singers and Hosts dedicated to the world of Karaoke.
To David, Roz, Jason, Music Addict and Johnny B I would like to say this…….
I have been and avid supporter of W2S for quite awhile now and will continue to enthusiastically support this fantastic Karaoke site that David puts so many hours into.
As a Karaoke owner operator (and also a Karaoke Junkie singer) I have no problems being a subscriber and paying what I would classify as a small amount for the privilege and the use of this site.
The concept that I originally put forward regarding a lower subscription fee for Casual users was born out of the fact that I could see many people using the forum from time to time and also inquiring about costs of subscription but not being subscribers.
My theory behind a lower fee for Casual users is that once they start using and seeing the benefits that W2S has to offer to subscribers then they may just become long term subscribers themselves which inturn benefits W2S and its subscribers in the long run.
This is not Einstein’s theory of relativity but more like Practical Pigs way of introducing new Casual users to W2S.
After someone has used the W2S site and paid a few times the benefits and savings for a longer period of subscription should become painfully obvious.
Hopefully I may see some of you over Penrith (Western Sydney) way Friday or Saturday.
Kind Regards
Kev

Meet karaoke hosts and singers in the Where2sing.com forums . . .

KARAOKE in Australia

You've found the #1 website with the original and biggest karaoke gig listings database listing nearly 1,000 gigs across all states of Australia - each listing with full venue name, address, phone number plus extensive information about the gig itself. Read feedback from singers who have already visited the venue, and see information such as songlist size, crowd size, type of singer and even how much applause you can expect when you visit each gig.

Or visit the forums where both singers and hosts meet and chat - including State-chat forums where you can make friends whom you'll meet up with at a venue near you.

And there are the Gig Reviews, the constantly updated 'National Top 10 Karaoke Venues' chart, specialised lists of venues for Under 18s and currently running Competitions, lists for karaoke rooms, restaurants, karaoke hosts and supplliers, and karaoke news from all around the workd.

Of course, the best way to keep up to date is by opting in for the FREE weekly Karaoke News Email.
