The new website is great. I seem to be having some trouble accessing the view/ad comments section of my gigs. Am I doing something wrong? REPLY from David
I've just Signed In as you, clicked on the Comments buttons of both your gigs, and the windows opened ok for me. I'm using a PC, with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
I've tested the site on IE and Firefox browsers. Some buttons you click on the site will open new windows, and some others open popup pages - so you might like to check whether you can open both new windows and popup pages... Here are some things from the FAQ on the Contact page that may help:
Q. Why must I allow 'popup windows' and why do I need Javascript enabled?
A. The W2S site uses both these to work properly - little popup windows are used to save continually refreshing the main window, and javascript is used to do things like make these windows open. You can tell your browser to allow popups just for the W2S website.
Q. The website pages don't display properly.
A. W2S displays properly only in Microsoft's Internet Explorer and in Mozilla's Firefox browsers. These two browsers are the most popular, and I don't have the time to change it to suit any other browsers. If you have a page-display problem, first click your 'Refresh' button, and if this doesn't work then go to you browser's Tools and clear your temporary Cache and your Cookies, close your browser, and open W2S in a fresh browser window. If it still doesn't display correct, please tell me exactly what is incorrectly displayed.
Q. The website doesn't seem to work properly. How do I fix it?
A. Firstly, ensure that you're not doing something silly - re-read the screen and check that you haven't missed or mis-read something. Then ensure you're using Microsoft's Internet Explorer version 4 or above, or Mozilla's Firefox. Then check you have Cookies enabled, and Java installed. Then clear your Cookies and Temporary Files, close your browser and re-start it. If all that fails, drop me a line telling me what you were doing or attempting to do at the time of the problem, and the exact nature of the problem you experienced (I need to be able to re-create the fault in order to find and fix it).
