| From the Where2sing.com forum: David, Ive been trying for a few weeks to log on to your site, in a usual way i do, but have found latly that a page comes up saying that you are transfered to a new server? & to click on to continue to main page?, which I have tried, but it keeps coming up, server not found. is it somthing that I may be doing incorrect or have you changed somthing?. on your Qst & An you have posted a prosedure of cookies & such which I have compleated, also Microsoft internet explorer vertion 4 or Mozillas Firefox. Does that mean if I dont update to these newest programs or buy a more compatible pc to alow me to update on these things I no longer am able to log onto your site? or is it just somthing easier Ive overlooked. As i have only available windows 98. can you help with my problem? REPLY from David
That's very strange, as I'd imagine you'd by now be going automatically to the new server. Perhaps you can tell me exactly that you're putting into the Address Bar of your browser?
Also, it would be a good idea to set your browser options to always get the latest page from the server, as it sounds as though it's trying to give you a 'cached' page from yoour own computer - this is the way that new PCs are often set up , but needs to be changed so that you're looking at the new info on websites....
You should be ok with Windows 98, and an older version of IE, but an easy way to check is to drop into a cyber cafe and try one of their machines....
