Hi everyone

What happened over at Eastern Creek?? Somehow or other my name has gotten brought into this and I wasn't even there!!

Pat, I am glad that Ray is feeling better, but next time don't smash the rolling pin so hard over his head!!! (lol).

I'm trying to make sense of these comments that have been put on here since last night. Obviously 'Throb' went to Eastern Creek. 'Throb', did you go and make yourself known to anyone, I am presuming that quite a few people that I would know would have been there, Pat and Ray, Wendy, Cathy, Tania, Garry, - were Denise, Charlie, Vicki and John there too? I am going to agree with 'Catman' that karaoke is about having fun and getting up and singing even if a person doesn't have the best singing voice. It is not a competition to see who can sing the best or the worst, some people who have been singing for years still don't have the best singing voices in the world, but does that matter?? No it doesn't. What matters at karaoke is that people get together and have fun and enjoy themselves. I don't have the best singing voice and I am the first to admit it, a lot of people can sing better than what I can, but I go to karaoke to meet up with my friends and enjoy myself, not to get into a competition about who can sing the best and who is the worst singer. That is a good way to loose friends quick smart.

I would not for one minute say that Cumberland is the best gig around, nor is it the worst. The club itself has had its problems, but I am hopeful that it will one day be back to the really good show that it used to be.

I am now going to have a nice cup of tea with Mick and then we are off to Windsor. Have a good weekend everyone.

Roz.
