Yes, unfortunately Mick and I did go to the 'snake's' first show, the first night wasn't too bad, one reason for that was because it was not as cold as it is now. The main reason we went to the show was that the 'snake' had been coming to all the shows that Mick does and for some reason (that I don't know of) Mick told him we would come to his opening show. BIG MISTAKE ON OUR PART. and I am the first to admit it. We had dinner with some friends at the venue where this snake holds his show last Saturday night and as we got there fairly late, the show was underway when we got there, Mick got up and sang two songs but the sound was terrible. The place is so cold, they have heaters on and then they go and open all the doors!!! I have a dose of the flu because of catching a chill there on Saturday night. To my knowledge, this is the only gig that he has, and the locals there don't like him very much. Although for some strange reason, he has a following with his own regulars who follow him around when he manages to land a new gig. I don't think that this one will last, primarily because he does it on his own and he is hard to understand.

I don't know how you could have missed this slime ball. He frequents Karaoke Kapers shows, especially CCC and the Band Club, maybe if you are not doing anything on a Tuesday or a Sunday night, pay Karaoke Kapers a visit and make yourself known to me and I can point him out to you. You must be one of the few karaoke show owners that he has NOT approached about taking your show from you. BE CAREFUL Kev, you never know when he is around.
Pat: Does the 'snake' go over to Eastern Creek at all?
Mic Rophone, I will read the CAREOAKE page again and remember what I said, if you need help setting this up, I am available, so please call on me. If you feel the need to talk to George then do so. Have you spoken to him since the big night at Eastern Creek?
