I think it's fine enough. The more highly populated areas do tend to dominate the general forum and if you're someone from a less populated area wanting to chat with others about your shared local venues, sifting through the irrelevant posts to find someone you know would get pretty time-consuming. So the option for a local community's great. If you just wanna chat to everyone, then the general forum's the way to go. It all just depends on who you want to talk to, doesn't it?
