From the Where2sing.com forum:

Hi James, I know Mike, Sue & Bob, and yes they were in attendance last Saturday night. Unfortunately they probably picked the wrong night to sing a few songs as we had 36 different singers, and thus only a handful got to sing more than one song. This is not the norm at the Customs - we amost always have a good sized crowd, with just the right ratio of singers to audience, and most weeks those there from start to finish get to sing 3, sometimes more.

On the issue of the foldback, yes we do use one, and when I sang my only song for the night at the very start to do a sound check, it was ok. However it's quite possible as the crowd got bigger that I didn't adjust it upwards enough. We were over-run with singers and would-be singers continually questioning us about when they were up or whether they could get a song in. Still - no excuse, I should have paid more attention to the sound on stage during the night. I hope this won't deter Mike and crew from returning again.
