| From the Where2sing.com forum: PeterM... thanks for biting - whilst I've been to only a small number of Melbourne venues, my impression of these has been that the hype on both W2S and (previously) KCA was a long way ahead of the actual show - there being a greater general discrepancy than in venues I've attended in other states. This is not to say that every show is like this, and it might apply only to some operators who spruik on the two websites, but my comment had the purpose of suggesting that a lack of communication on the forum between hosts and singers led to an absence of real information for hosts that would allow them to continually adjust their shows in a way that would maximise their crowd.
