| From the Where2sing.com forum: Yes David , it was the beehive, a very popular place it was , not every-ones cup of tea , infact i couldn;t go there on a weekly basis, but many punters loved the show , personally i think the host was the correct host for the venue( host is a very good friend of Joann & I ) and perhaps it was getting to a point where the hotel needed to have a change , but we need long term consisdent venues like the beehive and it is very sad when these venues disappear , it is very hard to become loyal to places that are not long term karaoke venues ( if you get my drift ) ....Chris's main asset as a host is his ability is to relate to ALL people and getting them feeling like they are a legend , he works the crowd very very well and in turn they are very loyal to him ,thus he get many coming to other shows regularly ,no matter where they are around Melbourne....
