| From the Where2sing.com forum: Yes , but that type of thing works very well for him , but i can understand that for a 'first-timer' ,one might think that perhaps he has been there to long and maybe is just a little tied but playing the odd game of pool or having a drink with the regulars or sitting at a table and having a chat is part of his appeal , he is one of the more respected hosts in Melbourne but then again he;s been doing it a long time ( around 15 years ) ....OH !!! the sound is good because ...1. he knows what he's doing.....2 ..he's mixer/amp is a unit made for karaoke (a Denton unit made in u.s.a , i'm pretty sure with that )and the speakers are UV'S (around the $3500-$4000 mark) , plus he will not buy elcheapo discs , we were both on the same level of thinking when we purchase our equipment ..
