Hi everyone,
Thanks Kev and Roz, as you can read I am so into this. When I first started singing at Karaoke, I couldn't believe the talented singers. There are so many of us out there that have very pleasant voices but are never gonna make the big time, well the next best thing is singing to others who enjoy music like we do, but don't get to go out to see or hear a show.
It took a good 12 months to get things up and going properly and even then had people that thought I was off the planet with my ideas.
The table has turned and it wasn't long before I had others thinking the same way and seeing their own potential.

Start your program with a group song, we have done things like, 'ONE' from Chorus LIne, 'Walk Right In', The Happy Wanderer'
'Getting to Know You', Al Jolson's 'Mammy' and so many more.
Individual, duos, trios etc can sing, mixing it up with happy tunes and some ballads.
Move onto a stint of Community songs, Capital can help you find discs for those (we have the music factory discs)
Another bout of individual, duos, or even getting an audience member up to sing.
Finish on a group song, like 'Still call Australia Home' or 'We'll meet again'.

The Shirelles, 'Will you still love me tomorrow' perfect for a ladies trio. 'Bad Habits' or 'I will follow him' some black nuns head gear, very easily done.
Show songs are really good to from Phantom, My fair lady, Cabaret, Carousel. So much out there and with all the hosts involved you have a top class list of songs to choose from.
Good luck with it all, just pull together and just do it.
Take care, regards Teresa
