Re: back-to-back songs at CCC... I think it's a good concept in theory and I feel it works best when there is a small crowd at the beginning of the night which then builds to something a little out of control later in the night. It's a way of rewarding those who show up at the beginning (something I usually do). In this setting though, I think it's counter productive. I got there a little before start time and got my songs up within the first 20 min or so and had to wait nearly 2 hours for my songs. That's pretty bad in my humble opinion and had I not been propositioned to do Paradise... then I would have cut my loses and left. I think a good suggestion to the host is to only introduce the back-to-back concept if it is quiet and not many singers have put songs up...
