Yes Mick and I do have some gear here at home, but not enough to take around for a show. We have an RSQ player, speakers and the like but we don't have a separate amplifier as we run the set up here at home through an old stereo system that we have. Pat you have been here several times and would have seen the set-up that we have. When I get some of that rare thing (for me) called 'free time' I will make a couple of phone calls to some Nursing Homes that I know and see what I can do. Probably won't be till tomorrow, right now I am taking a break from my own work and trying to keep my 'family' entertained due it the rain!!
I will let you know when I have made some phone calls. I was thinking of trying the Nursing Home that my mum was in as I know they have (or at least had at the time that mum was there) a Recreation Officer who arranged entertainment for the residents. Most of the larger nursing homes have someone like this., If they don't then whoever is making the calls (probably me) would have to speak to the Director of the home. Leave it with me for a day or two, I have some work of my own to get out and then hopefully a day or two free.
