Well no new karaoke at Rooty Hill - well not yet anyway. A lot of rumours circulating as to which karaoke show will be doing it and whether or not Pete Graham is staying or going. I suppose only time will tell. Mick and I went down there tonight and watched as the gig was being set up. I can't understand why a person needs one lady on a computer putting in the song requests and another man on the panel when at most karaoke shows, one person handles these two jobs without any fuss or ado. I did notice that this show is still using cord microphones and I thought that most shows had now gone over to cordless. I would have thought that with the money that Pete Graham is making from this show alone that he could afford cordless microphones!!
Needless to say, Mick and I didn't stay very long there at all. Saw a few people that we knew, said hello to Pat (I will catch up with you later Pat) and then we came home.
David, don't be too quick to go updating details on this club as yet, from what I have been told, there are quite a few companies trying to get this gig. I have been told that Star Karaoke is supposed to be starting there, but I don't know when, but up until anything new happens, then just leave it as it is.
