Just to let you know the Belfield Hotel is no longer running karaoke at the moment. It went out with quite a bang last Thursday night and will be sorely missed by those of us that didn't mind the ""westie pub types", looked like they'd just walked off a construction site." As Jason put it.
Well most of them had!!
It was a great venue for that in sofar as you could decide at the 11th hour to go down for a sing and you could stay in the trackies you had on.....anyway....Not enough leather for Jason's liking, that's all.
There is talk of running the show on a monthly basis down the track and, given the amount of people that were annoyed it was being pulled, this is a real possibility.
So ... and I will be heading down to Solomons at The Royal Oak at Lidcombe to see if Big James is still singing up a storm.

Many thanks for the word on the Belfield, and I've marked it as no longer running. Indeed, it's a shame when karaoke gets taken off, and especially if it's one of those places you can pop into without having to make a night of it.
Have you heard from Elliot recently? I see that his old gig out at Parkes has been taken off the site by someone, and the last time I spoke to him he was dithering between Sydney and the Wild West... do you know whether he's still in karaoke?
