Funnily enough, the song I requested isn't one of the ones I use on a regular basis, its actually the two Midnight Oil ones that get the sunshine. I think its because they have a great guitar backing which works well.
Perhapes KJ's would be in a better position to nominate songs? They might know which songs are regularly requested and hence are viable. On the other hand, its the oddball song that sometimes happens to be a big hit - there isn't always a scientific method to the revival of a hit.
